Pavel Kadeřábek - biography
Pavel was predestined for a football career. His grandfather Václav Vrána was a former AC Sparta Prague forward. He belongs to the strong 1992 generation which started at AC Sparta Prague. Playing for the club at the time were future national team players and other Sport Invest family members, most notably Ladislav Krejčí, Jiří Skalák and Martin Frýdek. Players from this generation won silver at the European Under-19 Championship.
He made his debut in the Czech First League on loan to Viktoria Žižkov but played all his other league matches with Sparta, where he gained the status of a key player. In 2014 he made his first appearance with the national team. In 2015 he transferred to Bundesliga’s Hoffenheim and became an essential player for the club, helping it achieve a historic third place and to qualify for the Champions League.
